Case Study
SteadyPath Financial
- Client
- Lyn Williams, SteadyPath Financial
- Type
- Full website build, from scratch
- Industry
- Financial advisory / wealth management
- Location
- Lebanon, TN
The challenge
Lyn Williams was leaving an established firm to launch her own independent practice. A new practice needs a credible, professional presence on day one, but she was starting with nothing. No website, no online home for prospective clients to find her, learn what she offers, and reach out.
The site had to do three things from launch:
- Establish immediate credibility for a brand-new practice
- Clearly communicate her services and who she serves
- Give prospective clients a direct path to get in touch and schedule a meeting
The approach
I built the site from the ground up as a fast, lightweight static site, the right tool for the job. A solo advisory practice doesn't need a heavy framework or a content management system; it needs a site that loads instantly, never breaks, and costs almost nothing to host.
The build used an AI-assisted development workflow: I generated a product requirements document and initial scaffolding with AI, then iterated on the design and content directly until it matched the vision for the practice. That workflow let a polished, multi-section site come together efficiently without cutting corners on quality.
What I built
- A single-page main site with smooth anchor navigation and a fully responsive mobile menu
- A dedicated biography page establishing Lyn's 20+ years of experience and credentials (Master of Accountancy, CEPA® Wealth Advisor)
- A clear services section covering all six core offerings, from retirement income planning to estate and legacy planning
- A simple three-step “how it works” process to set client expectations
- A “who we serve” section speaking directly to her target clients, including families, business owners, pre-retirees, and women navigating financial transitions
- Full contact section with address, phone, email, and office hours
- All required financial-services compliance disclosures and BrokerCheck integration
Stack: Vanilla HTML / CSS / JavaScript, deployed on Vercel with analytics. No framework, by design: chosen for speed, reliability, and zero maintenance overhead.
The outcome
SteadyPath Financial launched with a professional web presence that holds up against far larger firms.

The site gives Lyn a credible home for her new practice and a clear channel to direct prospective clients toward scheduling a meeting, turning a from-scratch launch into a polished, fast, professional presence.
Next phase
The current site is built to grow. A clear next step would be wiring up live booking (e.g. Calendly) so prospects can schedule directly from the site, alongside ongoing content to support search visibility, a natural Phase 2 for the practice as it scales.
